Aug. 16- A week from Monday we should leave for
Manouvers.
Had quite a time the other night. We were blackout
driving and got into a ditch. By 11 am. we were out
but was plenty tired and hungry before we got home.
We did so well that day they thought we were one of
the few companies to be off today.

Something new has
been added.
Private- First Class

Aug 21- Was out for three days starting last Monday
so did not see Bill or Bud until Wednesday evening.
Our three day trip is and example of what we are to
get on manouvers. Missed supper and breakfast
Tuesday and Wednesday. We were out late and by
the time supper was served we had to pull out again
and ride all night-
