Sept. 28- Camp Chaffee, Ark.
Tomorrow I have to give instructions to a
gang of rookies on machine guns and
must brush up to do a good job.
This Corporal Department keeps you busy
at camp.
Looking up from my seat- asst. driver
Frenchy on left- radio operator Gerat
Sept. 30. We may pull out of here around the
5th. We may go to california or as rumor has it
to Pine Camp, N.Y. near Niagara Falls but the
latter is too good to be true.
The weather down here is sure funny- hot as
the devil during the day and at night we have
frost.
Camp Chaffee
Our tank on a flat ear when we
got back from Texas.
