Nov. 20th. Am now officially technician 4th classa sergeant. Got some pictures back yesterday but
six had been smeared.
Nov. 22- The first sergeant came in our tent a
couple nights ago and told me I was to be
transferred to Head Quarters Co. 1st. Battalion.
They only have three tanks and I think I drive the
Majors.

Christmas Party
(Her brother is in 6th
Division)
Nov. 27. Was transferred the 25th to this new
company. They needed a good tank driver here
for the Colonels tank. Was sort of drafted for the
job as they did not ask me if I’d like to go.
Dze. 5- Bud was over last night with Bill to tell me
he (Bud) was leaving for Fort Knox. I was on the
alert and when Bill called my name I went dashing
out with a rifle to see what was up. I almost
knocked the two of them over.
