Sept. 2.- Had to stay under
cover all day so aeroplanes
could not get any pictures of
us moving about.
Met a fellow from the 64th
A.R. and he said Bud and Bill
are about 10 miles from here
now.

With a cinder in the good eye.
We are up on a ridge and it is
just fine- still more pine trees.
Flatswoods, La.
Stf. Sgt. O’Donnell
Takes a shave.
Did not find a creek to wash in
yet and water is scarce.
