Text

10-13. 42
Oct. 21- Spent a day instructing some men how to
drive that never learned before. Had quite a time
telling some lieutenants what to do who were just
learning too
Oct. 23. Got a change of scenery yesterday and
moved thirty miles to a camp to guard it with most of
our company.
This was our camp first
day

Oct. 25. Tried to find this place on the map but
couldnt. Anyway- it is 210 miles east of Los Angeles
and nothing in sight either way.
Oct. 30. Moved back to our camp yesterday as
another company took over the guard.
It was just getting good too. We had peeps to ride
our posts in and was on for four hours and then off
eight.

Our camp second day
third tent on right is mine.
