Day after
snowfall

Jan 31- the hours I have
now are rather long. We
get up at 7am- have
breakfast and polish up for
inspection- then they have
some drill- road march or
double time. We have
lunch at 11:30 and by 1215
leave for school. Everyone
must be dressed the
same- books under left
arm- all holding them the
same way. The first
sergeant starts them
marching off to school and
we have music to march
to. Every hour we get a ten
minute break to take a
stretch-
