My hut.

Jan 16- Trying to write a letter but not
doing so well- the Major is pestering me
with questions. He is my boss now so I
have to listen to him.

Jan. 23- Just came in
from a two day problem.
Was on the other side of
the mountain. It was so
cold the milk for coffee
froze in the can but in
daytime it was beautiful.
The trees were all green
and the grass still
growing. It is in an area
that is irrigated by the
Colorado River.
Leaving tonite by train for
Fort Knox, Kentucky.
