Text

Aug 21- I don’t go to radio school
anymore but will keep on studying
as it is good to know how to operate
it anyway.

Fatigue clothes
with first stripe
sewed on.

Aug 24- Bill is leaving Wednesday
morning and I think Bud is too- We
are leaving thursday- going by train
with the tanks on flat cars- we must
take turns guarding them so I hope it
will not rain. We will be on threethree day problems- and will be back
here after Sept. 20th. We have
everything ready to leave unless
they think of something else to doBeen cleaning and scrubbing that
tank so you can ‘eat off the floor’ as
the old man said.
(‘old man’ is our captain)

This peeps name is ‘Bell Hop’
