June 23Bud in in Headquarters Company. They are of the first
battalion which is three companies from A.F.C. They have
mostly trucks in their outfit- also two tanks from each
company- but they do a little different work.

think it is to have the boys tires out so they want to go town
Tuesday- payday. We get frequent lectures about staying
away from unscrupulous women and clip joints. [scams]

mosquitos and flies. A horse fly bit me on the left hand and I
had to have it bandaged for two days
