June 24Today I had the machine gun with
45 hits out [of] 45 and the larger
gun 8 out of 8- can’t beat that.

Tonite we are on guard duty and I go
on from 8 to 10 p.m. after we are
through without relief we stay dressed
all nite ready for an alert call.
Bill is in the service company. They
bring up gun parts and amunition to the
tank companys- also refuel the tanks
and trucks. They have no tanks of their
own.
